& Community Services Association has entered into a service accountability agreement with the Central
East Local Health Integration Network (CE LHIN). The agreement defines the obligations and
responsibilities of both the parties for a term of two years.

Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association is committed to the development of Social Enterprises. The Sep 3, 2008 press conference affirmed that these new initiatives, in part, are necessitated by changes in the government¡¦s funding policies.
Carefirst continues to meet the community¡¦s demand for quality social services, as it has done over the past 32 years. Furthermore, to strengthen the organization¡¦s capabilities, Carefirst now has a Chief Executive Officer, as well as additional Senior Management positions.
Carefirst is committed to serving the needs of the community through their own services as well through collaborative partnerships. Carefirst is proud to be a member of the Doorways to Care Network. Doorways to Care is a live answer phone service to help seniors access community services.

ethno-specific charity community support
services agency who had received another 3 years
CCHSA accreditation (from Year 2007 to 2010).
The surveyors have assessed Carefirst's
agency operation, management and client service
provisions not only to have achieved national
quality standard, but Carefirst has demonstrated
championship in several areas of service
developments.
